This week we talk to Dan Davidson, a community pastor/ entrepreneur/ mentor/ coffee shop owner who took the obstacle of an unwanted coffee cart and created a business training program for local at risk-youth. That coffee cart eventually became a cafe that hosts events for the entire community. From concerts, to protest art shows, Rosebud Cafe is known throughout Pasadena for its social impact. Dan is an incredible space maker who has been able to navigate big challenges by just focusing on the next logical step. This conversation contains lots of practical tools for creating sustainable/meaningful work. In a year like 2020 we all need a reminder that our obstacles can sometimes be the birthplace of our biggest opportunities.
